CONCERT
The annual concert of sacred vocal music features time honored favorites from different cultures, faiths and periods. AVA’s Resident Artists perform a selection of sacred music with Master Vocal Coach David Antony Lofton leading the AVA Opera Orchestra.

THE PRINCETON FESTIVAL
Mr. Delagrange performed the role of Superintendent Budd in Benjamin Britten's comedic masterpiece, Albert Herring with The Princeton Festival. Performances took place on June 17 and 19 at Morven Museum and Garden, Princeton, NJ. PSO music director Rossen Milanov conducted.

This concert featured Mr. Delagrange in Act II of Puccini’s La bohème, Act I of Mozart's Don Giovanni, and Rossini’s The Barber of Seville. A Celebration of Opera! features the AVA Opera Orchestra with Maestro Christofer Macatsoris and guests conducting.

Based on the play Le comte de Comminges by Baculard d'Arnaud. Donizetti's opera La Favorite concerns the romantic struggles of the King of Castile, Alfonso XI, and his mistress, the "favourite" Leonora, against the backdrop of the political wiles of receding Moorish Spain and the life of the Catholic Church.
Mr. Delagrange debuted the role of Balthazar in Greg Boyle’s production of La favorite with The Academy of Vocal Arts.

HEARTBEAT OPERA
How badly do you need to win? Would you sell your soul? In this contemporary American rendering of a twisted German fairy tale, a young man’s fear of failing his future bride drives him to a portal of darkness. Meanwhile, his small town parties on, oblivious to the evil unleashed in its midst. In this vertiginous landscape full of sound and fury, "the seventh bullet is the Devil's."
Mr. Delagrange made his debut with Heartbeat Opera in Louisa Proske, and Chloe Treat’s production of Der Freischütz.

MAID OF ORLEANS

Russian opera workshop
Tchaikovsky based his opera on a play called The Maid of Orleans by the German writer Friedrich Schiller. The Maid of Orleans tells the story of Joan of Arc, the 15th-century French heroine who freed the citizens of Orleans, led French troops in glorious victories over the English, and helped Charles VII to be crowned King.
Mr. Delagrange returned to Russian Opera Workshop to debut the role of Thibaut d'Arc in Maid of Orleans.

King René’s daughter, Iolanta, has been blind since birth. Wanting to protect her, the King charges all his servants with keeping her blindness a secret while he tries to find a cure. A chance encounter with her betrothed leads Iolanta to learn of her blindness. Tchaikovsky’s beautiful opera of love and enlightenment, set in this fairy-tale world of castles and princesses, is definitely one to bring a tear to the eye as faith and love triumph, and help Iolanta to realise her limitations and overcome the unknown.
Mr. Delagrange made his role debut as King René in Iolanta with Russian Opera Workshop.

ROMEO et juliette

Roméo et Juliette is an opera in five acts by Charles Gounod to a French libretto by Jules Barbier and Michel Carré. The opera is based on the most famous tale of tragic love - Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.
Mr. Delagrange sang the role of Le Duc in Roméo et Juliette with The Academy of Vocal Arts

Flighty and fickle or faithful and true? Mozart poses this classic question in his famous comedic opera Così fan tutte, a tale involving the misadventures of two sisters and their soldier boyfriends. For these starry-eyed young couples, romantic illusions are given a nasty wakeup call when they decide to test the boundaries of love, loyalty, and friendship in a complicated game of “boys vs. girls.”
Mr. Delagrange sing the role of Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte with The Academy of Vocal Arts.

Journey into Dvořák’s magical, mystical world of love and tragedy, which features the beloved “Song to the Moon” aria. Rusalka, the water-nymph will do whatever it takes to be with the human she has fallen in love with, but at what cost?
Mr. Delagrange made his debut with The Academy of Vocal Arts as Vodnik in Rusalka.
